You may be familiar with one of our Harvard Square favorites, Veggie Planet. Now you can enjoy more vegan comfort food from their sister restaurant, Veggie Galaxy, located in Central Square, Cambridge. They offer breakfast items as well as sandwiches, burgers and entrees and even have a gluten-free menu!

Here are some of the sandwich offerings (served on Udi’s Bread):

The Club- grilled tempeh bacon, smoked tofu, balsamic toasted tomato, romaine, pickled red onion, tarragon basil pesto and roasted garlic mayo.

Smoked Ruben- grilled house smoked tofu, sweet and sour pickled cabbage, swiss cheese, basil, horseradish Russian mayo.

Melt- Spicy tofu & vegetable salad, pickled carrot, baby arugula, cheddar cheese and dijonaise.

BLT- grilled homemade tempeh bacon, balsamic rosted tomato, roamine, basil, mint and roasted garlic mayo.

House made vegan cheese, soy and rice milk are always available.

Gluten-free vegan puddings and ice cream have always been available for dessert, but they’ve recently added a “gluten-free cake of the day” and also offer special order cakes in the flavors of Boston Cream Pie, Taza Chocolate Layer Cake, Chocolate with Vanilla Frosting, Yellow cake with Taza Chocolate Frosting and Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Cake!
