We know that certain Thai dishes  are naturally gluten-free but sometimes we are reluctant to order if restaurants are not aware of food allergy concerns.  Happily, Mango II Thai Cuisine  is aware and boy, did we enjoyed our meal!

Maggiano’s Little Italy will substitute gluten-free pasta for any of their pasta dishes! The exception to this is the lasagna and ravioli.   After speaking with the folks at our location (Boston), I was told that, in addition,  any protein dish (chicken, fish, pork or beef) is available gluten-free too but one must order without the sauce.  Just be sure to tell your server so they can work with you to create a perfect dish. Sam Diego’s has a gluten-free menu!  It is currently only available in the restaurant but they do make mention of it on their website under “FAQ’s”.  On our most recent visit we were pleasantly surprised with the availablity of complimentary gluten-free tortilla chips and salsa.  This is something relatively new and the gluten-free menu has not yet been revised to reflect this change  Read the rest of this entry »
