Conveniently located on Main Street, the Keene Fresh Salad Company serves fresh and creative soups, salads, entrees and sandwiches; all made from scratch.  Gluten-free focaccia is available for the sandwiches and there is always a decent variety of gluten-free items to chose from.  The gluten-free baked goods are also dairy-free (contain eggs). Check the website to see their weekly specials.  Some of the current offerings include the Santa Fe Grilled Chicken Salad or the Vegan Grilled Tofu with chickpeas and berries.  Most of the dressings are gluten-free and some such as the curried carrot, orange raspberry dijon and maple mustard are dairy-free too.  The Broccoli Cheddar soup is gluten-free while the Split Pea is both dairy and gluten-free.   One of the recommended entree specials is the Smoked Haddock with Cheddar Cheese Sauce.

If you just want to grab something small there is always the gluten-free muffins to consider as well as a variety of  beverages ranging from the expected coffee and tea to hot apple chai and fruit smoothies.  Also worth noting is the availability of flavored ice cubes in a variety of flavors like coffee, tea, mint, lemon, lime, strawberry and raspberry!
