About Us
Dining away from home can be a challenge for those managing food allergies and intolerances or special dietary needs. As a registered dietitian, as well as a mother of children with food allergies, I am always on the lookout for a safe place to eat. This site came about due to the necessity of finding restaurants receptive to serving customers with food allergies and special dietary concerns. Our goal is to increase the awareness within the restaurant community so that we may once again experience the freedom to dine away from home.

Delicious Gluten Free Pizza on Cape Cod!

BZ’s Mexican Pizzeria, located in Dennisport on Cape Cod, MA, serves delicious gluten-free pizza in a conveniently located pizzeria with an old-time feel. The pizza dough is made from tapoica starch and rice flour and is dairy and corn-free but contains egg whites and almond flour.  It is supplied through a local baker(Good Juju Bakery). Servers and staff are well trained regarding cross contamination and a separate area of the kitchen is dedicated to preparing the pizza. Chef Roger recommends calling ahead to be sure that there is enough pizza crust on hand – it is so popular that sometimes they run out!  Numerous salads and Mexican appetizers and entrees are also offered. Many are naturally gluten-free and some can be made dairy-free as well.  Just ask!

Gluten free pizza is also available from 11- 4 pm at Paradise Pizza & More in West Dennis and The Beach House Restaurant in North Falmouth which also has gluten-free burgers, sandwiches and pasta dishes!  And, of course, at the chain Uno’s Chicago Grill in Hyannis.

  • Bob:

I have eaten at BZ’s and Paradise Pizza with my family. The pizza was great but did cost quite a bit more than the regular gluten pizza. But when you’re on the Cape and the kids need to eat gluten free it is well worth it. When we plan to eat in the restaurant we always call ahead from our hotel so the pizza is almost ready by the time we arrive. It takes longer to prepare than regular pizza.
