Cherry Bomb Bakery  opened last spring in Brighton Center.    While they are NOT a gluten-free bakery, they do offer gluten-free cupcakes and cookies on occasion.  The naturally gluten-free Flourless Chocolate Cupcake (contains dairy) is available daily.  A sample of the other flavors modified to be  gluten-free include the Coconut Cupcakes and Orange Vanilla Cake.  On the day of my inquiry they were also offering a gluten-free Peanut Butter Cookie.  Tell your vegan friends that there are numerous choices for them here too!

While Cherry Bomb Bakery  originally intended to serve their gluten-free customer base, they are finding more requests than actual paying customers. So I’d suggest you call ahead to find out what flavor gluten-free goodie they’ll be serving that day, if any.  They will do special orders with 24 hours advance notice.   

 Catering is offered and, where owner Colin Cunningham is a veteran of the allergen-friendly Blue Ginger restaurant, they are willing to work with your specific dietary needs.
