The Kinsale Inn in Mattapoisett, MA is the oldest seaside inn in the nation and also houses a restaurant and pub.  Great Irish food is served and they offer a gluten-free menu !  They are sensitive to other dietary needs as well.  As stated on the menu, “We take food allergies very seriously and are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.”  You’re encouraged to email or call before your visit so they can discuss your needs.

The menu includes appetizers, soup, salad and fifteen entrees. Food starch (sometimes corn starch) is used in the stews, not wheat flour. This allows for many dishes to be enjoyed such as the Lamb Stew, Beef Stew and the Seafood Gumbo.

Entertainment  occurs six days a week and overnight dinner packages are available as well.
