Frank’s Bakery in Bangor
Frank’s Bake Shop in Bangor, Maine has been in business for over sixty years! They have a loyal following of gluten-intolerant customers who enjoy their baked goods and sandwiches.
While not an exclusively gluten-free bakery, the items that are made in-house are prepared separately from the standard pastries and specifically designated tools and utensils are used for the gluten-free items. There isn’t a dedicated deli slicer but they will thoroughy clean the slicer for your order, if you’re comfortable with that. Or, you can pick one of the ready made tuna, egg, ham or chicken salad for your sandwich.
A variety of products are available, but vary day by day. Call ahead to see what they’re offering before your visit. Dairy-free and vegan items are also available. Below is a price list of the gluten-free items.

Larger Cakes are available; however, we need a least two (2) days notice.
