Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in Boston, Providence, RI and West Hartford, CT is an allergen-friendly restaurant that even has a food allergy guide for its guests! If your dietary needs require you to be gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut and tree nut-free, or avoid MSG, this steakhouse may be able to accomodate your needs. Many of their regular menu offerings are naturally gluten-free, or can be altered to become so. If dairy is an issue, entrees can be broiled in olive oil rather than butter. The guide also lists which lunch and dinner items can be ordered without butter or milk. Tree nuts are present in the kitchen and peanut oil is used for frying. However, many of the recipes do not include these or may be prepared without them. For instance, the salads can easily be prepared nut-free.
All of the menu items are free of MSG with the exception of the ranch dressing. The guide is also helpful if you are watching your carbohydrates, or need to know the diabetic exchanges and/or items that stay within the American Heart Association’s heart healthy guidelines. If you are venturing out of the New England area, you can visit one of many Fleming’s Steakhouses across the country.
