The Pinelli Marra Restaurant Group has been catering to the gluten-free community for years and boasts a large number of gluten-free friendly restaurants!  All offer gluten and dairy-free pizza crusts made of potato starch, rice and tapioca flour (contain yeast, soy and egg). Sam Diego’s has a gluten-free menu!  It is currently only available in the restaurant but they do make mention of it on their website under “FAQ’s”.  On our most recent visit we were pleasantly surprised with the availablity of complimentary gluten-free tortilla chips and salsa.  This is something relatively new and the gluten-free menu has not yet been revised to reflect this change  Read the rest of this entry »

With many locations throughout Connecticut, Illiano’s Pizzeria serves delicious thin crust gluten-free pizza!  The crust is made from a mixture of rice, tapioca and bean flours and is free of  dairy and soy ingredients too (contains eggs and yeast).  This pizza  can be ordered with any of the toppings on the menu.
